This Privacy Policy describes how Diane Marie Ladrido doing business as Affordable Web Studio ("Agency," "AWS," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, communicate with us, or purchase our web design, hosting, and digital management services.

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of our website, and via third-party service providers.

A. Information You Provide Directly to Us

  • Account & Contact Information: When you fill out an inquiry form, sign up for a service plan, or contact us, we collect your name, business name, trade/industry, email address, phone number, and physical business address.

  • Payment & Billing Data: When purchasing our setup or monthly management plans, your payment card details, billing address, and transaction history are collected and processed securely by our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). AWS does not store raw credit card numbers on our servers.

  • Onboarding & Project Content: Logos, photos, business details, service areas, trade licensing numbers, and text content you provide to us to build your website or manage your Google Business Profile.

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical data via cookies and analytics tools, including:

  • IP address, browser type, operating system, and device information.

  • Referring URLs, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and navigation paths.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following business purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To build, host, optimize, and maintain your custom website, register domain names (via Namecheap), and set up digital profiles.

  • Billing & Account Management: To process one-time setup fees, execute automated 30-day recurring subscription payments, and manage invoices.

  • Communication: To send project updates, design previews, monthly analytics reports, billing notifications, and respond to your support requests.

  • Optimization & Marketing: To improve our website performance, analyze user behavior, and send optional promotional announcements (which you can opt out of at any time).

3. Client Website Lead Data Ownership

Affordable Web Studio builds and manages websites that include lead capture and contact forms for our clients' customers (end-users).

  • Complete Client Data Ownership: All customer leads, form submissions, phone inquiries, and end-user contact details generated through your client website belong 100% exclusively to you (the Client).

  • No Third-Party Exploitation: AWS acts strictly as a technical service provider and data processor. We do not sell, rent, broker, share, or market to your end-user leads under any circumstances.

4. Third-Party Service Providers & Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate our business and deliver your services, including:

  • Platform Infrastructure & Hosting: Wix.com (web design platform and hosting infrastructure).

  • Domain Registrars: Namecheap (custom domain registration and DNS management).

  • Payment Processors: Stripe and PayPal (secure payment gateway processing).

  • Analytics & Search Tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile API.

All third-party providers are governed by their own respective privacy policies and security standards.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience, analyze web traffic, and remember your preferences.

  • Essential Cookies: Necessary for basic website functionality, navigation, and secure checkout.

  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with our website so we can improve design and navigation.

You can instruct your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, disabling cookies may limit your ability to use certain features on our site or complete online checkouts smoothly.

6. Data Retention and Account Transfer

  • Active Accounts: We retain your account, project, and billing data for as long as your monthly subscription remains active to provide ongoing management, SEO updates, and support.

  • Upon Cancellation: If you cancel your monthly subscription, we maintain your account records as necessary to comply with financial, legal, and tax reporting obligations, or to assist with asset transfer procedures. Once asset transfers (domain EPP codes and web platform accounts) are complete, operational access is handed over directly to you.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security against all potential cyber threats.

8. Your International Data Rights
